Technical Consultant – PACS, Radiology Informatics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +35 more states.

📋 Description

• Overseeing intricate technical implementations and integrations from the planning phase to deployment.

• Creating and refining implementation methodologies, best practices, and standards for service delivery.

• Establishing consistent processes, ensuring configuration integrity, and contributing to the organization's global knowledge repository.

• Monitoring, assessing, and enhancing system performance.

• Proactively identifying potential issues and applying solutions that enhance reliability, stability, and customer satisfaction.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, product leaders, and executive stakeholders.

• Developing executive-level presentations, reports, and documentation to facilitate informed decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare information technology (IT) or information systems (IS).

• Practical experience in implementing PACS solutions and/or supporting Radiology Informatics environments.

• In-depth knowledge of healthcare interface standards (HL7, DICOM, etc.).

• Strong understanding of cloud environments, Windows server infrastructure, networking concepts, and SQL/Oracle databases.

• Basic knowledge of AWS (EC2 and S3) is preferred.

• Proficient in root cause analysis, data interpretation, strategic planning, stakeholder management, risk assessment, and program execution.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Health Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

• AWS Certification Path: Cloud Practitioner is highly desired.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
