This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Directly interact with clients to offer advanced analytical support.
• Oversee pricing consultations for Group Health SAIL and Renewal products, guiding clients in understanding risk scores and model outputs.
• Collaborate internally with Client Services, Sales, Product, and Data Science teams to assist our clients in new sales and renewals.
• Evaluate data utilizing internal tools to assess pricing risks and deliver recommendations.
• Thoroughly analyze AI-generated outputs to clarify the meaning of model outputs and risk indicators in terms of practical underwriting and pricing strategies.
• Write and execute SQL and Python queries for analyzing large datasets and assessing submission performance.
• Develop and enhance advanced Excel models to stress-test pricing assumptions and confirm model results.
• Effectively communicate intricate mathematical and AI concepts to non-technical client stakeholders.
• Assist in quantifying ROI and performance enhancements associated with our AI products.
• Over 5 years of experience in healthcare analytics, population health, healthcare economics, or claims analysis, ideally with an actuarial perspective.
• Strong foundation in quantitative disciplines such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Analytics, or a similar field.
• Required proficiency in Python and SQL; advanced skills in Excel are also necessary.
• Capability to interpret complex statistical outputs and effectively communicate insights to non-technical audiences.
• Experience providing analytical support for health insurance populations (e.g., renewal pricing, retention, trend management, or book-of-business optimization).
• Comfortable engaging in a consultative role directly with clients and presenting analytical results.
• Demonstrated experience in building or refining pricing models, conducting data submissions, and validating model-driven outcomes.
• ASA certification is advantageous.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms like Databricks is a plus.
