Technical Consultant – MS Dynamics 365 Business Central, ERP, Data & Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement data migration strategies (ETL) for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (ERP).

• Assess legacy ERP systems, data structures, and data integrity to ensure accurate and consistent data transfer.

• Assist in requirement validation and guarantee alignment between business needs and the ERP solutions deployed.

• Establish and enforce data mappings, transformation logic, and validation criteria.

• Create and oversee integrations between Business Central (ERP) and external systems (APIs, middleware, Azure services).

• Aid in the design of technical solutions, prioritizing performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and migration testing.

• Diagnose and resolve technical challenges during the implementation and hypercare phases.

• Collaborate closely with architects, developers, and business analysts to ensure comprehensive ERP delivery.

• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and IT protocols.

• Document technical designs, migration processes, and integration workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in technical consulting, ERP system integration, or data migration initiatives.

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (ERP).

• Demonstrated success in data migration (ETL), data mapping, and data quality management within ERP contexts.

• Experience with APIs, integration platforms, and Azure services (e.g., Logic Apps, Data Factory).

• Strong understanding of SQL, data models, and data transformation processes.

• Proactive, delivery-focused mindset with robust problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in complex, international ERP project settings.

• Capability to connect business needs with technical execution.

• Proficient in English; proficiency in German is a significant advantage.
