Technical Consultant – Migration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Execute migration projects within Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.

• Assist in defining the scope of migration projects by establishing requirements and solution strategies.

• Conduct discovery assessments across AD DS and M365 ecosystems.

• Play a key role in the design, planning, and execution of migration solutions.

• Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initial engagement to delivery and handover.

• Oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring that timelines, quality, and customer expectations are fulfilled.

• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to facilitate successful project outcomes.

• Aid in the development and enhancement of team processes, standards, and methodologies.

• Share expertise and provide support to other team members through mentoring and teamwork.

• Maintain necessary certifications and knowledge essential for project delivery.

• Ensure compliance with data protection, security, and company policies in all initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in executing Microsoft infrastructure or migration projects.

• Solid understanding of Active Directory environments (AD DS) and Microsoft 365.

• Familiarity with migration tools and methodologies (experience with Quest or similar solutions is advantageous).

• Capability to manage multiple projects or workstreams concurrently.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficient in gathering and interpreting customer requirements and contributing to solution design.

• A collaborative mindset with the capability to work independently when needed.

• Eagerness to learn and enhance skills in new tools and technologies.

• Demonstrated experience in executing AD DS migrations or M365 tenant-to-tenant migrations.

• Experience with the complete project lifecycle (discovery, design, delivery, and handover).

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft identity services, such as Entra ID.

• Experience with Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive environments.

• Familiarity with Quest tools (ODM AD, ODM 365, Domain Move) or similar solutions is a plus.

• Relevant Microsoft or vendor certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
