This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Implementation Support: Set up and deploy BA Insight connectors and associated components in customer or demonstration environments.
• Assist in establishing integrations between BA Insight and platforms such as SharePoint, FileNet, iManage, or Documentum.
• Provide support for indexing, metadata enrichment, and data orchestration processes tailored for enterprise AI applications.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Explore, replicate, and resolve technical issues raised by customer-facing consultants or the Support team.
• Analyze logs, oversee indexing and orchestration pipelines, and pinpoint root causes of connector or configuration problems.
• Collaborate with internal engineers to tackle intricate technical challenges and document the resolutions.
• Testing & Validation: Conduct and record functional, performance, and regression testing of connector and orchestration configurations.
• Validate installations, upgrades, and patches before customer delivery.
• Ensure configuration consistency across various environments (Development, Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Production).
• Documentation & Process Compliance: Keep precise and clear records of work undertaken, including environment specifics, configuration parameters, and troubleshooting notes.
• Adhere to internal implementation methodologies, quality checklists, and escalation protocols.
• Provide suggestions for enhancing documentation, internal tools, and reusable scripts or templates.
• Team Collaboration: Partner closely with Senior Consultants, Support Engineers, and Project Managers to guarantee technical preparedness for project milestones.
• Operate primarily asynchronously, working during flexible hours that align with global project timelines.
• 2–4 years of experience in technical support, software configuration, system integration, or quality assurance—ideally in a SaaS or enterprise software setting.
• Previous experience with enterprise search, content management systems, or AI data processing pipelines is advantageous.
• Experience in a team-oriented delivery model or shared service environment is preferred.
• Core Engineering Fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of programming principles (data structures, logic, debugging).
• Basic proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, JavaScript, or similar.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML.
• Basic comprehension of how enterprise systems interact and share data.
• Familiarity with platforms such as SharePoint, OneDrive, or similar tools.
• Basic understanding of indexing, metadata, and search relevance (high level).
• High-level insight into LLMs, grounding, hallucination, and familiarity with tools like Microsoft Copilot.
• Ability to systematically debug issues, possess strong logical reasoning, and show a willingness to investigate challenges.
• Technically curious and eager to progress into a senior consulting position over time.
• Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail and the capability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Excellent written English and documentation skills (verbal fluency is beneficial but not essential).
