This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Responsible for overseeing projects from their initiation to completion with minimal supervision, emphasizing quality control.
• Accountable for project delivery by comprehending contracted services and fees, managing timelines, budgets, and overall execution.
• This role involves client interaction, delegating project tasks to designated project staff, and attending and/or presenting in client and public meetings.
• Collaborate with leadership to establish necessary performance standards, identify challenges, and propose solutions that achieve desired results.
• Manage all project resources, including reviewing the work produced by all staff involved in project deliverables.
• Ultimately responsible for ensuring accurate and timely analysis of all data and documentation required for project completion.
• Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with clients and their designated representatives.
• Utilize industry and client insights to enhance the company’s market presence and revenue through repeat business and referrals, relationship building, proposal development, and cross-selling.
• Serve as a mentor to analyst and consultant staff, aiding in their development of technical knowledge, project management, client services, and marketing/sales/business development.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in one or more of the areas of expertise outlined in the Summary.
• Exceptional time management skills, particularly when collaborating with clients.
• Proficient in predicting project fulfillment timelines.
• Proactively anticipate and propose solutions to adapt to changes in client requirements.
• Ability to develop, manage, and lead projects from inception to completion, including risk management, resource allocation, and tracking.
• Skilled in data analysis with the capability to extract insights and conclusions.
• Create tailored solutions that align with client goals and objectives.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to effectively navigate the complexities of change management.
• Educational background may vary; an advanced degree in business administration, finance, public administration, municipal planning, or civil engineering is preferred but not mandatory.
