This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Collaborate with internal teams and end users to identify technical requirements (e.g., authentication, SIS integration).
• Evaluate and recommend technical solutions that align with customer needs and limitations.
• Offer continual technical advice and support for both internal and external partners, including best practices and process enhancements.
• Test and pilot middleware solutions to optimize data transfer between customer data sources and Canvas.
• Manage the delivery of solutions from the planning phase through to execution.
• Thoroughly document processes and keep records updated for all projects.
• Convey complex technical concepts clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communications.
• Create custom tools to improve team workflows and productivity.
• Reduce Instructure’s risk exposure by carefully managing technical integrations and configurations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of experience in SaaS implementations or technical support roles.
• Strong understanding of identity provider authentication systems (e.g., CAS, SAML, LDAP, OAuth).
• Experience with APIs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability and eagerness to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
• Some familiarity with a programming language is highly preferred.
• Capacity to work collaboratively across departments and with stakeholders at various levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; adept at managing changing priorities and timelines.
• Experience in the higher education or K-12 sectors is preferred.
