Technical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Convert business requirements into technical solutions by swiftly grasping client needs and their related system impacts.

• Evaluate, design, document, and implement interface solutions between client systems and UKG Pro, ensuring precision, scalability, and performance.

• Create, test, and deploy integrations with UKG Pro, following best practices and adhering to project schedules.

• Oversee full-cycle data conversion activities, which includes interpreting, validating, transforming, and loading data from diverse HR/Payroll systems into UKG Pro (such as employee, payroll, benefits, contact, dependents, beneficiaries, and historical data).

• Guarantee data integrity and compliance through meticulous validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance processes.

• Generate detailed post-conversion documentation to assist client validation, audit preparedness, and ongoing system reliability.

• Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve data and integration challenges, minimizing disruptions to project timelines and client operations.

• Keep precise, up-to-date project documentation, ensuring that all deliverables are accurately documented and archived.

• Play a vital role in the successful execution of enterprise HCM implementations through robust technical expertise and teamwork.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in data conversion and/or interface development.

• Proficiency in SQL, Interface Programming, and Report Writing is required.

• Strong background in Excel, data manipulation, validation, and VLOOKUPs.

• Experience with HR/Payroll systems such as UKG, Dayforce, Kronos, ADP, PayChex, Workday, and/or similar platforms is essential.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and balance working on various projects, clients, and alongside other consultants simultaneously.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and adjust to evolving scope and resource situations.
