Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Assist Tigunia's BC/NAV department with pre-sales support and deal structuring through discovery and demonstrations conducted via on-site visits, remote access, shared sessions, telephone, and email communications.

• Oversee and aid BC/NAV clients with project management and case-related issues.

• Create specifications for customizations to achieve desired functionalities when off-the-shelf solutions are unavailable.

• Collaborate with Tigunia Consulting and Management teams to proactively address and resolve client issues and disputes.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of warehousing, manufacturing, and finance modules.

• Convert customer processes and requirements into a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solution, including systems integrations and recommendations for ISVs or best-of-breed solutions.

• Prepare clients for ERP implementation by analyzing business and operational changes, defining and delivering training, and executing testing plans.

• Manage customer relationships by providing support, answering inquiries, and resolving concerns and issues.

• Collaborate with the project manager and project team by communicating critical information, gathering team input, reviewing open issues and action items, and contributing to team meetings and reports using designated technology and tools for each project.

• Continuously enhance expertise by engaging in educational opportunities, self-study, reading professional literature, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

• Create specifications for customizations to achieve desired capabilities when off-the-shelf solutions are not available.

• Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with clients to enhance and add value to the Tigunia-Client relationship.

• Work with Tigunia Consulting and Management teams to proactively address and resolve client issues and disputes.

• Be attentive and insightful in recognizing client needs so Tigunia can proactively provide solutions.

• Proven experience in ERP implementations: Expertise in finance modules across all deployment phases (gathering requirements, designing solutions, setup & configuration, testing & training, documentation & communication, deployment & troubleshooting).

• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interactive team management skills.

• Polished, professional, and confident presentation and public speaking abilities.

• Capability to collaborate with client team resources and subject matter experts to effectively lead requirements gathering and design work sessions, translating needs into requirements and designs into solutions that align with client goals and objectives.

• Proficient in documenting Fit-Gap requirements, estimating effort levels, and prioritizing based on urgency and complexity.

• Ability to communicate progress on project tasks, issues, risks, and blockers to the Project Manager.

• Experienced in change management and collaborating with developers on custom code within finance modules.

• Expertise in creating test plans and supporting clients in developing test scenarios/scripts and implementing test strategies.

• Problem solver: Address issues and mitigate risks to prevent project blockers that could impede progress or lead to escalations.

• Ensure adherence to Tigunia’s Approved Implementation Strategy for client engagements.
