This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with the People Tech Product Owner and People Operations stakeholders to establish and prioritize the HCM product vision across Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Time & Attendance.
• Conduct requirements walkthroughs and workshops; identify and document use cases along with functional requirements.
• Collect requirements for Workday and integrated-system enhancements, documenting user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Develop business and technical workflows centered on the employee lifecycle and HR compliance.
• Evaluate People business processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency, standardization, and data integrity.
• Facilitate communication across departments regarding upstream and downstream process alterations impacting Payroll, Benefits, and HR Reporting.
• Oversee epics and user stories within the product backlog, ensuring alignment of stories to business personas.
• Conduct and facilitate User Acceptance Testing for implementations and Workday upgrades; prepare test plans and ensure test cases align with requirements.
• Compile information for Change Control meetings and secure approvals for system releases and deployments.
• Utilize datasets to address complex issues and support business decisions while safeguarding sensitive employee and contractor information.
• Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues within Workday and People Technology systems.
• Partner with Product Owners on strategic initiatives and assess technical feasibility.
• Investigate HRIS/HCM best practices and recommend enhancements that align with industry standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role or similar position.
• Robust understanding of HR and Payroll business processes, controls, and compliance considerations.
• Experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, and Recruiting modules.
• Proficient in utilizing data management concepts to ensure data integrity across integrated systems.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Capability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
• Experience with NetSuite or another enterprise ERP platform is preferred.
• Workday Pro, Lean Six Sigma, or PMP certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with Ashby is preferred.
• Experience with Pigment is preferred.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including writing user stories and managing backlogs, is preferred.
• Background in the K–12 education sector is preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
