Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Engage in the functional definition and advancement of the Global Receivables platform.

• Serve as the primary liaison between Business and Technology, converting business requirements into actionable specifications.

• Transform business needs into functional specifications and user stories for Agile development teams.

• Facilitate meetings and workshops with Accounting and Regulatory Reporting teams.

• Prioritize requirements, and establish user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Assist in executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Suggest technological and operational strategies for the launch and development of new products.

• Maintain communication with stakeholders across Operations, Business, Technology, and management.

• Coordinate and oversee external functional consultants.

• Create and update functional documentation, including product Operating Model documentation.

• Cultivate subject-matter expertise in Receivables products and operational management.

• Track delivery milestones to ensure deadlines and deliverables are achieved.

• Aid in monitoring financial execution and workstream budgets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Functional Business Analyst / Business Analyst in the banking or financial services sector.

• Strong background in Agile methodologies and delivering User Acceptance Testing.

• Highly analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the capability to comprehend complex business processes and requirements.

• Proficient in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.

• Extensive experience in creating functional documentation, presentations, and business requirements.

• Solid understanding of Supply Chain Finance products, especially Receivables.

• Proven experience with Factoring and/or Receivables products.

• Prior experience in Banking Back Office settings.

• Strong grasp of accounting processes, integration, and regulatory reporting.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities, capable of working effectively across Business, Operations, and Technology.

• Experience in managing or coordinating external consultants is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with programming languages or technical concepts would be considered an advantage.
