This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead cross-functional teamwork in an Agile setting to collect and document business requirements for software development initiatives.
• Analyze and interpret business needs into clear, concise user stories that align with project objectives.
• Independently conduct complex tasks, exercising judgment and influencing best practices.
• Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and development teams.
• Conduct interviews, story mapping, storyboarding, workflow analysis, process analysis, and observation sessions.
• Evaluate existing systems and processes to pinpoint opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Engineers to review story requirements and confirm system functionality.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform impact analysis, and propose solutions.
• Discuss system enhancements with project stakeholders.
• Create flow diagrams and document technical solutions.
• Stay updated on business analysis and Agile best practices and emerging trends.
• Coach and mentor Analysts while leading the Analyst community Center of Excellence within the Value stream.
• Provide solutions to complex business challenges alongside Architects and System Analysts.
• Engage in future application roadmaps and enhance application scalability and resilience.
• Serve as a primary contact for business inquiries, especially during major incidents.
• 10+ years of relevant experience working with development and systems teams as a Lead Business Systems Analyst.
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and identify areas for enhancement.
• Capability to identify and resolve business issues through innovative and practical solutions.
• Strong communication skills to comprehend stakeholder needs and convey technical information effectively.
• Proficient in collecting, documenting, and managing system requirements from stakeholders.
• Understanding of technology and systems, including complex multi-platform applications and databases.
• Effective documentation skills for comprehensive reports, manuals, workflows, and specifications.
• Ability to efficiently manage tasks, timelines, and resources.
• Flexibility and adaptability to modifications in project scope, requirements, or technological advancements.
• High proficiency with SQL, Toad, MS Access, Excel, and/or SharePoint.
• Strong knowledge of Agile development methodology, including experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no employment visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT.
• Reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection and a minimally disruptive home workspace for remote work.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred, not required).
• Experience with Agile principles (preferred).
• Prior production support and troubleshooting experience (preferred).
• Experience as a QA or Developer (preferred).
