This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate structured discovery workshops involving client engineering and product leadership.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive requirements matrices that document data types, system interfaces, processing frequencies, and classifications of dependencies.
• Oversee scope tracking and manage MVP boundaries.
• Consolidate and uphold business glossaries, metadata standards documentation, and artifacts related to data governance.
• Serve as the coordination link among concurrent workstreams.
• Conduct technical feasibility workshops, monitor open questions and unresolved dependencies, and escalate risks to the project lead.
• Convert intricate technical architecture concepts into clearly articulated written requirements.
• Assist the Program Manager in maintaining logs of decisions, tracking action items, managing risk registers, and ensuring effective stakeholder communication.
• Create well-structured written artifacts throughout the engagement process.
• Help with light project management tasks, such as milestone tracking, status reporting, and coordinating dependencies across teams.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
• An advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience as a business analyst or requirements analyst in data, analytics, or technology platform projects.
• Proven ability to lead structured discovery workshops with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and to generate clear, actionable requirements artifacts from these sessions.
• Experience with AWS data platform projects is preferred.
• Understanding of cloud data architecture principles.
• Familiarity with AWS services (such as S3, Glue, Redshift, DataZone, Lake Formation) in a project setting is preferred.
• Basic project management experience, including tracking milestones, managing action items, reporting status, and coordinating dependencies.
• Exceptional written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to create structured documentation.
• Capability to manage context across multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Comfortable working in a Phase 0 or architecture-and-planning engagement environment.
• Awareness of emerging technology fields such as edge computing, IoT, or AI/ML systems is a plus but not mandatory.
• Excellent stakeholder management and organizational abilities.
• Remote work from home.
• Working hours are generally Monday through Friday.
• Specific business hours will vary based on client requirements.
