Technical Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Define, oversee, and deliver digital product specifications that align with business goals and promote operational excellence within the financial sector.

• Identify, evaluate, and cultivate business requirements to enhance end-to-end workflows.

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog and strategic roadmap.

• Balance business value, risk factors, dependencies, and operational limitations.

• Facilitate discovery workshops and assess current AS-IS processes.

• Establish optimized TO-BE solutions, process flows, user journeys, data flows, API specifications, and system interactions.

• Connect business stakeholders with technical teams.

• Specify API and integration requirements, data mappings, request-response flows, and anticipated system behaviors.

• Convert requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, API-related use cases, and testing scenarios.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on requirement packages and solution validation.

• Validate APIs and system integrations through specification reviews, integration testing, and analysis of API responses and errors.

• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles, training, communication, and the adoption of new capabilities.

• Provide ongoing application support while driving continuous process and application enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Analysis and/or Product Ownership.

• Demonstrated history of delivering enterprise-level solutions.

• Experience in switching between Business Analysis and Product Ownership roles.

• Practical experience with APIs and system integrations.

• Knowledge of API documentation, endpoints, request and response formats, authentication methods, error handling, and data mappings.

• Experience in translating business needs into functional and integration specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and system interaction diagrams.

• Familiarity with Postman, Swagger, or OpenAPI.

• Experience leading discovery initiatives and defining business processes.

• Ability to navigate intricate stakeholder environments.

• Experience assessing existing tools against custom development and third-party integrations.

• Capability to make recommendations based on value, feasibility, and cost.

• Ability to translate complex business, process, and integration requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery milestones.

• Experience managing UAT cycles and coordinating with stakeholders.

• Operational experience with post-deployment support, user interaction management, and ongoing improvements.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Regular utilization of AI tools to enhance productivity, automate or minimize repetitive tasks, support decision-making, and deliver superior outcomes.

• Ability to use AI tools responsibly, formulate effective prompts, critically assess outputs, understand limitations, and take ownership of the final results.
