This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Manage and resolve property and liability claims independently, focusing on building damage for both above- and below-ground construction.
• Perform on-site inspections and conduct damage evaluations.
• Prepare expert reports, assessments, and statements independently.
• Assess the causes of damage, the extent of loss, and the costs of remediation.
• Coordinate and communicate with all relevant stakeholders, including insurers, policyholders, service providers, and experts.
• Ensure claims are handled with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
• A degree in engineering (such as civil engineering, architecture, or mechanical engineering), or completion of a state-certified technician program, or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in one of the aforementioned fields.
• Comprehensive knowledge in building damage assessment.
• Familiarity with building (structural/above-ground) and civil/infrastructure (below-ground) construction is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in an organized manner.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus.
• A valid driver’s license (Class B).
