This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Design, implement, and provide support for network services and solutions for consulting clients.
• Mentor colleagues and share expertise.
• Cultivate customer-focused relationships to identify business challenges and develop solution specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with Practice Leads to create and maintain documentation and procedures.
• Execute significant projects in partnership with Project Managers and Practice Leads, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
• Provide leadership and convey project needs to the Project Management Team.
• Supervise Engineers to ensure tasks are completed accurately and punctually.
• Act as Lead Engineer on projects that involve multiple technologies.
• Deliver daily project updates regarding timelines, hours, resources, and concerns.
• Coordinate collaboration among business units to enhance customer experience.
• Facilitate team and customer meetings.
• Contribute to product selection, research, configuration standards, and best practices.
• Educate sales teams on products and services.
• Work collaboratively across regional and virtual practices.
• Stay updated on new products and solutions.
• Enhance technical expertise, project experience, leadership skills, and certifications.
• Achieve the annual billable hour target set by HBS.
• Over 5 years of experience in a technical-related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree, relevant certifications, or equivalent work experience.
• At least two Professional level certifications: CCNP, CCP-V, VCAP-DCV, MCA.
• Proven experience in designing and architecting network-based solutions.
• Experience in installing and supporting Cisco or HP/Aruba network switching and routing products.
• Familiarity with IOS, IOS-XR, and NX-OS.
• Knowledge of best practices related to OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, L2/L3 architecture and design, multicast, and QoS.
• Maintain up-to-date vendor/industry-specific certifications.
• Meet the annual billable hour target.
