Technical Architect – Networking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain network services and solutions tailored for consulting clients.

• Guide and impart knowledge to colleagues.

• Cultivate customer-oriented relationships to uncover business challenges and formulate specifications and requirements.

• Partner with Practice Leads to develop and uphold documentation and procedures.

• Execute large-scale projects alongside Project Managers and Practice Leads, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.

• Provide strategic leadership and communicate project requirements for successful outcomes.

• Supervise engineers and ensure tasks are completed accurately and promptly.

• Act as Lead Engineer on projects involving diverse technologies.

• Deliver daily updates on project timelines, hours, resources, and any relevant concerns.

• Facilitate collaboration between business units to enhance customer experiences.

• Engage in team and customer meetings.

• Contribute to the selection of products, research, configuration standards, and best practices.

• Educate sales teams on products and services.

• Collaborate across regional and virtual practices.

• Stay informed about new products and solutions.

• Advance technical expertise, leadership skills, certifications, and project experience in line with the Engineering skills matrix.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a technical field.

• Bachelor's Degree, relevant certifications, or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of two Professional-level certifications: CCNP, CCP-V, VCAP-DCV, MCA.

• Proven experience in designing and architecting network-based solutions.

• Proficient in installing and supporting Cisco or HP/Aruba network switching and routing products.

• Familiarity with IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS.

• Knowledge of routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, L2/L3 best practices.

• Experience with Multicast and QoS.
