Technical Architect – Networking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and support network services and solutions for consulting clients.

• Mentor colleagues and share expertise.

• Establish customer-centric relationships to identify business challenges and formulate specifications and requirements.

• Collaborate with Practice Leads to develop and uphold documentation and procedures.

• Execute large projects in partnership with Project Managers and Practice Leads, ensuring completion on time and within budget.

• Provide leadership and convey project requirements to the Project Management Team.

• Supervise Engineers to guarantee tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

• Act as Lead Engineer on projects that involve multiple technologies.

• Offer daily project updates and proactively share timelines, hours, resources, and concerns.

• Facilitate collaboration among business units to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

• Lead team and client meetings.

• Contribute to product selection, research, configuration standards, and best practices.

• Educate sales teams regarding products and services.

• Collaborate across regional and virtual practices.

• Stay informed about new products and solutions.

• Pursue professional development through project experience, leadership roles, certifications, and technical knowledge.

• Achieve annual billable hour targets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a technical-related field.

• Bachelor’s Degree, relevant certifications, or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of two Professional level certifications: CCNP, CCP-V, VCAP-DCV, MCA.

• Proficiency in designing and architecting network-based solutions.

• Experience in installing and supporting Cisco or HP/Aruba network switching and routing products.

• Knowledge of IOS, IOS-XR, and NX-OS.

• Familiarity with OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, L2/L3 architecture and design, Multicast, and QoS best practices.
