Technical Architect – Level 2, Microsoft Fabrics, Azure Synapse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and execute data, analytics, automation, and integration solutions for the Enterprise Data Platform initiative.

• Create and develop solutions utilizing Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics.

• Construct and maintain OneLake, lakehouse, data warehouse, and data integration solutions.

• Implement and manage medallion architecture across bronze, silver, and gold layers.

• Develop cloud-native applications, APIs, and integrations leveraging Azure and .NET technologies.

• Create analytics and reporting solutions employing Power BI.

• Design workflow automation solutions utilizing Power Automate.

• Establish continuous implementation and continuous development pipelines, along with infrastructure as code, using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Terraform.

• Use GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools effectively.

• Collaborate with project teams to resolve issues, enhance performance, and apply best practices.

• Provide production-ready data, analytics, automation, and integration solutions.

• Deliver Fabric-based data platform components that are in alignment with EDP architecture.

• Create reusable Azure, analytics, and automation assets.

• Facilitate automated deployment and infrastructure provisioning processes.

• Produce technical documentation and knowledge-transfer materials.

• Support internal teams and ensure that reusable assets remain maintainable following the six-month contract.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering solutions utilizing Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure Synapse Analytics, including OneLake, lakehouse, data warehouse, and data integration solutions.

• In-depth understanding and practical implementation experience with medallion architecture across bronze, silver, and gold layers.

• Strong software development background with expertise in Python, PySpark, C#, .NET, SQL, and modern application development practices.

• Experience in developing cloud-native solutions, APIs, and integrations using Microsoft Azure.

• Proven track record in delivering analytics, reporting, and workflow automation solutions using Power BI and Power Automate.

• Experience in implementing continuous implementation and continuous development pipelines, source control, and infrastructure as code using YAML, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Terraform.

• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
