Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete Salesforce solution architecture across various clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, CPQ, etc.).

• Create scalable data models, integration architectures, and security frameworks.

• Define system boundaries, integration patterns, and deployment strategies.

• Ensure that solutions are in line with Salesforce platform capabilities and the long-term roadmap.

• Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and design principles.

• Govern decisions regarding customization versus configuration.

• Review technical designs, code, and integrations to guarantee quality and scalability.

• Manage technical debt and guide initiatives for platform modernization.

• Design and supervise integrations utilizing REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns.

• Define strategies for data synchronization, master data, and data quality.

• Ensure reliable, secure, and efficient data flows across systems.

• Architect robust security and access models (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, FLS).

• Ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and industry standards.

• Design strategies for audit, logging, and monitoring.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams to convert requirements into technical solutions.

• Provide technical leadership to developers, admins, and analysts.

• Support Agile delivery through design reviews, sprint planning, and release readiness.

• Assist in estimation, risk identification, and dependency management.

• Define environment strategy and CI/CD pipelines utilizing SFDX and DevOps tools.

• Ensure seamless deployments across environments with minimal risk.

• Guide release governance and rollback strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of Salesforce experience with extensive hands-on architectural expertise.

• Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits.

• Experience with multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, CPQ preferred).

• In-depth knowledge of Apex, LWC, Flows, and declarative capabilities.

• Proven track record in designing enterprise integrations and data architectures.

• Experience in defining scalable, high-availability, and secure Salesforce architectures.

• Ability to assess trade-offs and make design choices that align with business objectives.

• Excellent documentation skills for architecture diagrams and solution designs.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Capability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Salesforce certifications such as System Architect, Application Architect are a plus.

• Experience with DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, GitHub Actions) is advantageous.

• Background in enterprise CRM, digital transformation, or cloud architecture is preferred.

• Experience in regulated industries (BFS, Insurance, Healthcare) is a plus.
