This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Performs on-site evaluations for product testing and selection in water treatment applications.

• Executes "Coagulation Studies" for drinking water products.

• Carries out studies for selecting wastewater products aimed at municipal and industrial clarification.

• Conducts sludge dewatering assessments for both municipal and industrial uses.

• Engages in coagulation and permanganate demand evaluations, providing treatment recommendations for iron filtration systems.

• Aids in sales initiatives for water treatment chemicals across industrial, municipal, and metal finishing sectors.

• Supports professional organizations by contributing to training seminars.

• Collaborates in the development of new products and applications for Hawkins, Inc.'s offerings.

• Implements plant trials for both potable water and wastewater applications.

• Diagnoses issues in customer treatment systems and suggests performance enhancement strategies.

• Participates in training Hawkins Water Treatment Group staff in both potable and wastewater applications.

• Assists the sales team in making recommendations for scale and corrosion treatment in potable water.


⛳️ Requirements

• A four-year degree or equivalent experience is necessary.

• A degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Engineering is preferred.

• Experience in the Water/Wastewater technical field is advantageous.

• Ability to recognize suitable business opportunities and key personnel within accounts.

• Capacity to build trust with customers.

• Proven ability to manage a high volume of activity under varying conditions.

• Proficient computer skills are essential.

• Must be capable of working with computers and software systems, ideally JDE.

• Previous sales experience is preferred.

• Strong mathematical abilities, including the capability to perform calculations for flow rates, etc.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills are required.

• Strong negotiation capabilities.

• Attention to detail is crucial.

• Effective organizational and follow-through skills are necessary.

• A history of working in a role that demanded autonomy and self-motivation.

• Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass drug and background screenings.
