Technical Application Specialist, Water Treatment/Wastewater

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Aids in the sales initiatives of water treatment chemicals for industrial, municipal, metal finishing, and food production sectors.

• Performs product testing and selection in both on-site and laboratory environments for water treatment purposes.

• Executes studies for wastewater product selection aimed at municipal and industrial clarification.

• Carries out coagulation studies and provides treatment recommendations for iron filtration systems.

• Contributes to the development of new products and applications for Hawkins, Inc. offerings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is mandatory.

• A degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Engineering is preferred.

• Prior sales experience is advantageous.

• Proven ability in sales and effective selling techniques.

• Proficient computer skills are essential. Must be capable of working with computers and software systems, preferably JDE.

• Strong mathematical skills are required, with the ability to perform calculations to determine flow rates, etc.
