This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for customers.
• Deliver top-tier support for both current and discontinued products, addressing issues related to installation, troubleshooting, configuration, interoperability, and compatibility.
• Offer remote assistance through LogMeIn Rescue to log in, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues on their behalf.
• Evaluate customer requirements through probing questions and suggest suitable StarTech.com products.
• Propose innovative solutions designed to fulfill unique customer needs.
• Recognize sales prospects and escalate them to the relevant internal teams.
• Provide internal assistance to Customer Advisors and various departments within the organization, offering both pre-sales and technical product support.
• Collect and document each interaction with customers in the Customer Relationship Management platform.
• Consistently follow up and strive to resolve any pending customer issues.
• Post-secondary education, ideally in a technology-related field.
• Relevant experience in IT helpdesk, computer repair, or as a computer technician, along with a strong enthusiasm for technology.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service/support.
• Familiarity with the IT industry, including knowledge of connectivity, hardware, and peripherals.
• Intermediate understanding of computer and peripheral hardware.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to effectively communicate with and assist customers who possess varying levels of technical expertise.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
