Technical Advisor – Airframe & Engine

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients to assess and suggest the most suitable inspection and maintenance options for airframe and engine occurrences.

• Organize and assist customers in coordinating all facets of maintenance events — including preliminary scheduled inspections, minor unscheduled issues, and significant unscheduled or major scheduled events — with designated repair facilities and service providers.

• Provide on-site representation for clients, especially during major scheduled inspections.

• Assist customers during Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations, ensuring prompt communication and solutions.

• Create and oversee Service Calls to monitor technical data, event progression, and support financial forecasting.

• Cultivate and maintain robust client relationships through consistent and proactive communication.

• Establish and nurture working relationships with regional service facilities, mobile repair teams, and other service providers.

• Investigate aircraft logbooks and/or conduct visual inspections for new enrollments or existing contract evaluations.

• Evaluate and process invoices in AMS, adhering to turnaround time objectives set by Technical Services Management and company policy.

• Conduct event triage by evaluating maintenance findings and ensuring each situation is addressed effectively and efficiently, acting as the primary liaison between maintenance facilities, parts sourcing vendors, and the customer — managing the event directly or delegating it to a Product Line Specialist as necessary.

• Execute asset inspections when enrolling new aircraft into service programs.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of applicable contracts, policies, and procedures.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by Technical Services Management.


⛳️ Requirements

• Unrestricted work and residency authorization in the United States is mandatory.

• Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certifications, or equivalent, are required.

• A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in an Aviation field is preferred.

• A minimum of 10 years' experience with corporate turbine-powered business aircraft (not commercial) is preferred, with specific expertise in working with Gulfstream and Bombardier airframes and their respective engine platforms.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Strong interpersonal capabilities.

• Proficient reading and writing skills, both articulately and analytically.

• Clear understanding of relevant technical competencies.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform well under pressure.

• Highly organized.

• Must possess or be able to obtain a passport and undertake international travel.
