This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Act as a trusted advisor for assigned enterprise clients, ensuring a cohesive customer experience.
• Assist clients throughout the onboarding process, adoption phase, and realization of business value during their journey.
• Clearly define customer business objectives and desired outcomes, creating collaborative Success Plans.
• Identify customer aspirations, gaps, and develop structured engagement strategies.
• Perform technology assessments, roadmap evaluations, deployment advice, best practices reviews, and operational guidance post-deployment.
• Identify use cases and recommend Adoption Guidance and Workshops to enhance adoption and usage.
• Showcase customer achievements and progress during Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Convey VMware solutions across various customer levels, including C-suite executives.
• Align VMware solutions with customers’ business and technical needs.
• Deliver technology roadmaps, assessments, solution recommendations, best practices reviews, and operational optimizations.
• Provide industry insights and benchmarking to minimize costs and operational risks.
• Collaborate with VMware consultants, engineers, product management, support, Customer Success, Global Support, Education, Professional Services, Development, and Sales teams.
• Monitor customer plans, make necessary adjustments, and ensure completion.
• Share customer experiences and best practices with the global TAM community.
• A Top Secret security clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
• A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience is required.
• Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles, such as TAM, Solution Engineer, technology consultant, IT vendor, professional services organization, or IT team.
• Familiarity with enterprise-level virtualization is essential.
• Extensive expertise in VMware multi-cloud products, including Infrastructure SDDC (vSphere, VCF, VVF), Cloud Environment (Cloud services, VMC/AWS, vCloud Director), Network Virtualization (NSX), or Automation/Monitoring (VCF Operations Manager, VCF Automation).
• Capability to align VMware solutions with specific customer business and technical requirements.
• Strong organizational and planning skills are necessary.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities, with a focus on building relationships with C-suite executives.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; however, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
