Technical Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support the company's worldwide accounting operations through the application of US GAAP and IFRS standards.

• Conduct research and document accounting findings for complex and non-routine transactions.

• Draft technical accounting memoranda.

• Monitor and evaluate the effects of new accounting standards.

• Ensure uniformity of accounting policies across all global entities.

• Assist in the preparation and review of consolidated financial reports.

• Collaborate with Tax and external consultants regarding transfer pricing matters.

• Review non-standard contracts and provide guidance on their accounting implications.

• Aid the external audit process by preparing necessary technical documentation.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation that supports accounting positions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• ACA / ACCA / CPA (or equivalent) certification is preferred.

• 4–7+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on technical accounting.

• Strong understanding of US GAAP; exposure to IFRS is advantageous.

• Experience in conducting technical accounting research and preparing memoranda.

• Knowledge of global accounting issues, including revenue recognition, intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, foreign exchange, debt/equity transactions, and consolidations.

• Experience collaborating with auditors and external advisors.

• Familiarity with ERP systems, such as NetSuite, and tools for automation of the closing process.
