Technical Account Manager – Public Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Shape the Future: Transform customer business objectives and eLearning goals into long-term technical strategies that maximize the full potential of Docebo's offerings.

• Manage the Partnership: Assume full technical responsibility for the Docebo-customer relationship, closely collaborating with the Account Team to enhance overall account health, customer growth, and enduring satisfaction.

• Lead the Presentation: Develop and present impactful presentations regarding performance and contractual SLAs directly to senior and executive management of the customer.

• Safeguard the Platform: Regularly monitor and evaluate technical health in key areas—including API usage, integrations, custom modules, and login/session trends—to proactively address potential risks.

• Advocate for Efficiency: Work alongside internal Premium Advisors to analyze support case trends, identifying systemic workarounds and suggesting enhancements to improve long-term platform health.

• Drive Innovation through Pilots: Assist in preparing and executing small proof-of-concept projects, testing innovative scenarios with stakeholders before implementing them organization-wide.

• Connect the Dots: Act as the main technical liaison between customer executive stakeholders and internal Docebo teams to lead during critical events and synchronize future product roadmaps.


⛳️ Requirements

• SaaS Troubleshooting Expert: Bring over 5 years of hands-on technical troubleshooting experience along with 2+ years of managing enterprise or large accounts in a SaaS context.

• Public Sector Specialist: Demonstrated experience in the United States public sector (government, education, or highly regulated institutional settings) with a thorough understanding of their specific compliance and procurement frameworks.

• Effective Technical Communicator: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex technical terminology into clear, value-oriented solutions for both executive and non-technical audiences.

• Proficient in Web Technologies: Strong working knowledge of front-end web technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, RESTful APIs) along with back-end development practices, OAuth 2.0, and SAML Single Sign-On protocols.

• Data & Integration Expert: Skilled in at least two of the following technical areas: creating/executing SQL queries, using iPaaS technology (e.g., Workato, Zapier), or developing BI reporting tools (e.g., Snowflake, Tableau, Looker, Power BI).

• Proactive Risk Assessor: A solid project management mindset combined with an analytical, process-driven approach to anticipating product release impacts and advising customers on testing preparedness.

• Open to Global Travel: Willing and prepared to travel internationally (with advance notice) up to 25% of the time.
