Technical Account Manager, Federal – Penetration Testing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Define the scope of penetration tests and mentor researchers for effective testing.

• Collect requirements, comprehend customer needs, and influence internal stakeholders.

• Collaborate with internal teams to identify, develop, and assess client assets.

• Operate autonomously with minimal guidance to create suitable technical solutions for client requirements.

• Offer expert technical support to internal stakeholders and clients regarding strategic objectives and testing needs.

• Oversee customer onboarding and the execution of penetration tests.

• Maintain Synack’s security and privacy standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in vulnerability discovery management, risk management frameworks, associated business workflows, and remediation processes.

• Skilled in scripting languages and developing automated solutions for challenges.

• Capable of communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Possess relevant cybersecurity and/or security management certifications, such as Security+, CISSP, or CISA.

• Knowledgeable in compliance and audits related to PCI, ISO 27001, SOC 1, and SOC 2 standards.

• Exceptional time management, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.

• Experience in managing multiple concurrent projects.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Currently hold a Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility.
