This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Contribute to the formulation of proposals and Statements of Work.
• Support the implementation of consulting services and delivery to fulfill Veeam Software solution designs and deliverables.
• Offer comprehensive project oversight, including project plans, schedules, communication plans, resource allocation, and status updates.
• Assist in evaluating and designing solutions.
• Help estimate efforts required for implementing Veeam Software solutions.
• Aid in addressing post-installation challenges.
• Produce white papers, solution guides, best practices, and customized documentation.
• Provide onsite knowledge transfer regarding Veeam Software solutions.
• Support the sales of Professional Services.
• Document configurations and completed tasks.
• Analyze existing environments and recommend optimal configurations for Veeam Software.
• Facilitate communication between clients and Veeam support.
• Identify additional opportunities within the client’s environment that can be addressed with Veeam Software solutions.
• Offer suggestions for process and documentation enhancements.
• Engage in overnight travel to fulfill company objectives.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE, or equivalent experience is required.
• Prince 2, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent experience is necessary.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in technology is required (a combination of education and experience will be accepted).
• Hands-on experience with Veeam’s core products is essential.
• Proven experience in consulting and project management is required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities are necessary.
• Responsible for comprehending customer needs and designing suitable solutions.
• Focused on acquiring in-depth technical knowledge of Veeam solutions and a broad spectrum of related technologies.
• Substantial experience and understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
• Experience with innovative storage systems and technologies (Nimble, Nexsan, Actifio, Veeam, etc.) is required.
• Hands-on knowledge of networking protocols and equipment (Fibre Channel, Ethernet, Cloud services).
• Familiarity with traditional storage and backup architectures (EMC, NetApp, IBM, HP/3PAR, Hitachi, Dell, etc.) is necessary.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise applications (Exchange, SQL, Oracle, etc.) is required.
• Experience with data management, data protection, and data analytics is essential.
• Extensive experience with data centers, business continuity, and operating systems is required.
• A proven track record of success characterized by attitude, competency, and activity levels.
• Experience managing multiple projects and accounts concurrently is necessary.
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies, capabilities, and protocols is required.
• Fluency in English is essential.
• Quarterly travel to customer sites is required.
