Technical Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.

📋 Description

• Take on the role of an expert and specialist, entrusted with the management and cultivation of your assigned client portfolio.

• Evaluate the effects of new features and fixes, aligning them with the organizational needs of customers.

• Assist in the configuration of Varicent-specific solutions tailored to customer requirements as needed.

• Create and distribute monthly performance and support metric reports.

• Examine usage data and metrics to pinpoint necessary corrective actions.

• Aid in the implementation of proactive maintenance measures.

• Provide support to team members by troubleshooting errors, bugs, and technical challenges, while offering guidance on best practices for optimizations—enhancing team skills in the process.

• Proactively identify growth opportunities.

• Collaborate with the team to foster sustainable growth in projects and products.

• Engage in Success Planning Workshops to promote Customer Success initiatives through effective planning.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review the change management process and suggest an improved future state where feasible.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT consulting and enterprise software implementation.

• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a technical discipline or a related business field.

• Previous experience with Query Based Languages and relational databases.

• Technical data skills, including extensive experience with SQL, data manipulation, and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong time management skills to organize work schedules and ensure that deadlines are consistently met.

• Excellent business communication abilities.

• Experience in gathering and interpreting requirements and aligning them with product capabilities.

• Ability to empathize with customers and understand their needs throughout all stages of the software lifecycle.

• Proactive initiative and the capability to work with minimal oversight, along with adaptability to changing processes.

• Preferred: Hands-on experience with Varicent software products, including administering, implementing, and/or supporting.
