This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Assist enterprise clients in the implementation and utilization of Red Hat Openshift solutions.
• Quickly acquire knowledge and keep up-to-date with emerging technologies such as container orchestration, registries, build strategies, microservices, and automation environments.
• Obtain and uphold Red Hat certifications relevant to your customers' needs.
• Cultivate and enhance customer relationships through attentive, relationship-focused support.
• Act as the main advocate for customers within Red Hat, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across different teams.
• Create and present technical tutorials and workshops for both customers and internal teams. Provide updates on the Red Hat portfolio roadmap and assist customers with product upgrades and implementations.
• Develop a thorough understanding of customer technical infrastructures, environments, hardware, and product usage.
• Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks and opportunities within customer environments.
• Work alongside sales and product management teams to develop and implement customer solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, R&D, product management, and technical support teams.
• Lead intricate technical troubleshooting and resolution efforts for critical customer issues.
• Visit customer sites as required to ensure an exceptional service experience.
• Proven experience in technical account management, technical support, software development or engineering, or quality assurance roles.
• In-depth technical expertise in Red Hat Openshift or comparable technologies.
• Capability to manage and expand existing customer relationships by providing proactive, relationship-driven support.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Skill in conveying complex information to customers in a clear and concise manner.
• Proficiency in managing multiple issues and projects simultaneously.
• A bachelor's degree in a technology-related field is preferred.
• Must reside within the U.S. Central or Eastern Time Zone.
• Background in software engineering; experience with RPM-based Linux technologies is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Linux system administration, ideally with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or its derivatives.
• Experience in DevOps environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes is preferred.
• Experience in deploying applications in cloud environments and developing containerized applications is a plus.
• Strong understanding of continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) concepts is preferred.
