This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +4 more states.
• Act as the main customer advocate at Red Hat, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across various teams.
• Provide updates on the Red Hat portfolio roadmap and support customers with product upgrades and implementations.
• Quickly acquire knowledge of and stay updated with new technologies such as container orchestration, registries, build strategies, microservices, and automation environments.
• Focus on the Ansible Automation Platform, offering expertise on its implementation and use.
• Conduct technical reviews to proactively identify and resolve potential issues while sharing insights across teams.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the customer's technical infrastructures, environments, hardware, and product utilization.
• Investigate and address support requests through various channels, including online, phone, video calls, and chat.
• Offer strategic advice and guidance regarding current and future Red Hat products and solutions.
• Oversee customer cases, ensuring the maintenance of clear and concise documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, R&D, product management, and technical support teams.
• Generate and uphold technical documentation for issue resolution and knowledge sharing.
• Cultivate and enhance customer relationships through attentive and relationship-focused support.
• Visit customer locations as necessary to guarantee an exceptional service experience.
• Previous experience in customer support, software development or engineering, or quality assurance organizations.
• Familiarity with the Ansible Automation Platform and comparable automation technologies, including Chef, Puppet, SaltStack, etc.; extensive knowledge of automation practices and principles.
• Proficiency in configuration management, application deployment, and infrastructure orchestration technologies.
• Capability to manage and cultivate existing customer relationships by providing proactive, relationship-based support.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex information to customers.
• Skill in managing multiple issues and projects concurrently.
• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field (computer science or engineering is preferred).
