Techn Reporting Analyst III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee business analysis tasks to collect requirements

• Convert requirements into specifications for implementing necessary solutions

• Create multi-source data and reporting solutions

• Establish and carry out test scenarios and test cases

• Assist with complex production challenges and change requests

• Conduct root cause analysis and apply suggested fixes

• Offer administrative support for infrastructure and environment

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Information Technology Certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, OCP) along with 3 years of relevant experience, OR 6 years of experience in the necessary fields

• Proficiency with various reporting tools such as Tableau, Business Objects, and Cognos

• Experience with SQL

• Understanding of relational and dimensional models

• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities

• Experience in performance tuning for reporting queries

• Proven experience leading requirements analysis and design discussions

• Experience in developing business/semantic layers

• Familiarity with data integration challenges, including validation and cleansing

• Knowledge of complex data and structures

• Previous experience in a requirements analysis position

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate project environments involving internal, external, and customer teams

• Understanding of logical and physical data modeling principles, including relational and dimensional modeling

• Proficient with MS Office tools, including Access and Excel

• Sponsorship is not available

• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

• Preferred experience in leading or mentoring a team

• Preferred experience as a system administrator for a reporting environment
