This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +13 more states.
• Manages incoming calls from customers, healthcare providers, and pharmacies regarding inquiries related to prescriptions, ensuring accurate and timely assistance.
• Verifies and confirms prescription details, including dosage, medication names, and patient information, while adhering to company protocols to maintain accuracy.
• Records customer concerns, complaints, or issues associated with prescriptions, showcasing empathy and professionalism to effectively resolve problems.
• Offers guidance and support to customers about prescription refills, medication adherence, potential drug interactions, and general medication information.
• Utilizes computer systems and software applications to access and update customer records, prescription information, and pertinent data during customer interactions.
• Regularly communicates with healthcare professionals, insurance providers, and pharmacies to facilitate the verification, authorization, and processing of prescriptions.
• Escalates complex or urgent matters to the appropriate teams, such as pharmacists or supervisors, for additional assistance and resolution.
• Monitors, tracks, and evaluates call center performance metrics, including call handling time, customer satisfaction, and quality standards to derive actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Remains informed on industry regulations, medication trends, and new pharmaceutical products, continuously enhancing knowledge and expertise to provide accurate and current information to customers.
• Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Must be a resident and Licensed Pharmacy Technician in one of the following states: Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, or Vermont.
• Candidate must secure Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician license (application and fee) upon hire.
• Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT) is preferred.
