Tech Manager – Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the evolution of IT Operations into a highly automated, AI-enhanced, KPI-focused system that significantly influences business outcomes (CVR, LTV, revenue).

• Redesign IT Operations utilizing AI, automation, and data (n8n, GPT, workflows).

• Take ownership of incident management metrics (MTTA, MTTR, SLA) and leverage them as a competitive edge.

• Create and expand a Business Support engine that eliminates bottlenecks across Product, Marketing, and Growth.

• Deploy AI-driven solutions to automatically categorize, prioritize, and resolve incidents.

• Direct the cybersecurity strategy, infrastructure reliability, and large-scale service delivery.

• Build and develop a high-performing Tech Operations team (2–5 hires each quarter).

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience leading IT Operations / Tech Operations teams in high-scale environments (e-commerce, SaaS, or similar).

• A minimum of 3 years managing cloud infrastructure (AWS required) — covering production systems, networking, and reliability.

• Demonstrated success in enhancing MTTA, MTTR, and SLA performance in practical settings (not just theoretical).

• Experience in implementing automation workflows (APIs, scripting, or tools such as n8n / Zapier / similar).

• Practical experience in managing incident management systems, service desks, and escalation processes on a large scale.

• Background in fast-paced, high-growth environments with frequent changes in prioritization.

• Strong grasp of the business implications of technology (conversion rate, revenue impact, cost of downtime).

• Proven capability in building or scaling teams (hiring, structuring, performance management).

• Experience in working with KPIs, dashboards, and making data-driven decisions.

• Excellent communication skills, able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Advanced proficiency in English (you will collaborate with global teams).
