Tech Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development team from a technical standpoint, serving as the authority on architecture and best practices.

• Assist the Product Owner and leadership in establishing technical priorities and planning project deliveries.

• Lead and coordinate the team's agile ceremonies, including Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Refinements.

• Function as a technical intermediary among development, architecture, infrastructure, and other relevant areas.

• Establish standards for development, architecture, and software quality.

• Aid developers in tackling complex technical challenges.

• Advocate for code reviews and spread engineering best practices.

• Guarantee compliance with client-defined architecture, security, and quality standards.

• Engage in defining solution architecture and the ongoing technological advancement of applications.

• Recognize technical risks and suggest scalable, sustainable solutions.

• Take a proactive approach to continually enhance processes and elevate the technical maturity of the team.

• Foster the technical development of developers through mentoring and knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Substantial experience in roles such as Tech Lead, Technical Lead, Specialist, or Software Architect.

• Demonstrated experience in Java development for high-criticality enterprise applications.

• Proficient in Java.

• Proficient in Spring Boot.

• Proficient in REST APIs.

• Proficient in Microservices Architecture.

• Proficient in messaging technologies, specifically Kafka.

• Proficient in SQL Server.

• Proficient in Docker.

• Proficient in Kubernetes.

• Experience with DevOps methodologies.

• Familiarity with Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, Nexus, and SonarQube.

• Understanding of continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD), and pipeline automation.

• Experience in Cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Knowledge of agile practices, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Experience with code reviews, setting standards, and maintaining technical governance.

• Preferred: experience in projects related to the financial or insurance sectors.

• Preferred: previous experience in environments requiring high availability and handling high transaction volumes.

• Preferred: familiarity with event-driven architecture.

• Preferred: experience with observability tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar.

• Preferred: certifications in Java, Cloud, or Software Architecture.

• Preferred: experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Architecture methodologies.
