• Provide strategic guidance to Fortune 500 customers concerning identity, access, and security issues.
• Cultivate relationships with CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, Chief Architects, and key technical decision-makers.
• Engage in executive briefings, architecture assessments, strategic workshops, and client meetings.
• Deliver technical leadership throughout enterprise sales processes.
• Enhance strategic opportunities by facilitating technical alignment, mitigating execution risks, and boosting customer confidence.
• Develop repeatable technical initiatives, executive communication, reference architectures, and playbooks.
• Mentor senior Solutions Engineers to enhance field technical capabilities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Enablement leadership to address technical trends and organizational investments.
• Create enablement programs for new technologies and customer challenges.
• Relay customer feedback, competitive insights, and implementation experiences to Product and Engineering leadership.
• Shape product roadmaps, validate emerging functionalities, and assist in early customer adoption.
• Convert market trends into product and go-to-market strategies.
• Present at conferences, executive gatherings, customer advisory boards, analyst briefings, and industry forums.
• Develop technical thought leadership through presentations, blogs, webinars, whitepapers, and executive content.
• Act as an external representative of 1Password, reinforcing its market presence.
• Collaborate with executive leadership across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Go-to-Market to impact company strategy.
• Shape the future of Solutions Engineering through mentorship and scalable engagement models.
• Over 12 years of experience in enterprise technology, cybersecurity, consulting, solutions engineering, enterprise architecture, or technical leadership.
• Proven success in influencing technology executives within Fortune 500 companies.
• Extensive technical knowledge in identity, access management, privileged access, cloud security, developer platforms, SaaS security, or AI security.
• Outstanding executive communication abilities.
• Capability to translate intricate technical concepts into business results.
• Proficiency in distilling complex technical information into compelling executive narratives.
• Established ability to influence enterprise architecture decisions in large, intricate organizations.
• Experience in supporting strategic enterprise sales initiatives and collaborating with executive sales teams.
• Strong comprehension of enterprise purchasing processes and contemporary sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC.
• Background in developing technical strategies, reusable methodologies, or scalable customer engagement frameworks.
• Ability to impact product strategy through customer engagement and market analysis.
• Capacity to cultivate trusted relationships across Product, Engineering, Sales, and executive leadership while influencing without direct authority.
• Experience addressing diverse audiences at industry conferences, executive forums, and analyst events.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Ability and readiness to meet frequent travel demands for client meetings, executive interactions, conferences, and industry events.
• Professional experience in cybersecurity, identity and access management, privileged access management, cloud security, DevSecOps, or a closely related security field.
• Experience in a senior, customer-facing technical role supporting large or complex enterprise organizations.
• Must already possess legal authorization to work in the United States or Canada; no work authorization, relocation assistance, or visa sponsorship/transferring is provided.
• Successful candidates must undergo a background check.
• Annual base salary ranging from $228,000 to $342,000 USD for USA-based positions or $228,000 to $342,000 CAD for Canada-based positions.
