Tech Lead – Solutions Architect, Python, GenAI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Develop clean, production-ready Python code for AI integrations, backend services, and RESTful APIs.

• Implement and enhance RAG systems for real-world applications.

• Create and develop LLM-based and agentic AI solutions that resolve genuine client business challenges.

• Take ownership of the technical direction throughout client engagements, from initial discovery to final delivery.

• Assist in presales activities including discovery calls, crafting technical proposals, defining scope, and conducting client-facing demonstrations.

• Lead architecture review sessions, generate technical design documentation, and contribute to the standards within the Python practice.

• Mentor fellow engineers, oversee code reviews, and disseminate knowledge throughout the team.

• Establish and nurture strong relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted technical advisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in developing and maintaining production systems beyond just demos and proofs of concept.

• In-depth knowledge of AI/ML concepts and demonstrated experience in integrating AI/ML components into solutions.

• Proficient in Python with a focus on OOP, design patterns, clean architecture, and performance enhancement.

• Experience in creating RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Django REST, or Flask.

• Skilled in making and justifying architectural trade-off decisions, such as microservices versus monolith, synchronous versus event-driven, and SQL versus NoSQL.

• Strong testing methodologies, including pytest, mocking, and integration tests for AI systems.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Practical experience in developing production LLM-based applications and agentic workflows.

• Experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or AWS Bedrock.

• Background in building and optimizing RAG systems.

• Understanding of LLM evaluation techniques and quality assurance methods.

• Proven experience in deploying and maintaining AI/ML models in live environments.

• Hands-on experience with AWS services (SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, ECS, S3, SQS, ECR, or similar); GCP experience is also considered.

• Familiarity with React or Vue frameworks.

• AWS and Claude Code certifications are preferred.

• A full-stack mentality, comfortable with AI, backend development, and cloud infrastructure.

• Actively using AI tools in your daily work, such as Claude Code, Copilot, or similar.

• Proactive and self-motivated; you take ownership of outcomes from start to finish and identify issues before they arise.

• Proficient in B2+ English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across distributed, multicultural teams.
