Tech Lead – Node, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Product Manager and Design Lead to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliver a seamless, high-performance front-end experience.

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, cultivating a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

• Foster an environment where engineers are motivated, engaged, and continuously enhancing their skills.

• Take ownership of the project's technical delivery, ensuring that deadlines are met and outputs align with client expectations.

• Select and update technologies that are best suited to the client's requirements while adhering to our standards.

• Support the Product Manager in refining discoveries, ensuring that epics and user stories in the roadmap are accurately refined, estimated, and prioritized according to business objectives.

• Act as a hands-on contributor to the project, working alongside the team to develop features.

• Conduct regular code reviews to uphold code quality.

• Supervise the overall software architecture.

• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the development process and improve team efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2+ years in a leadership capacity.

• 6+ years of engineering experience.

• 3+ years of experience in building web applications utilizing Node.js and React.

• Experience in software architecture (especially for projects developed from the ground up is a plus).

• Proficiency in setting up and maintaining hosting infrastructure.

• Strong business acumen (experience in early-stage startups is advantageous).

• Eagerness to learn new technologies and incorporate AI into your workflow.

• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills for addressing complex technical challenges.

• Openness to acquiring new technologies.

• Proficiency in English.
