Tech Lead – Node, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and Design Lead to ensure alignment on project objectives and the delivery of a seamless, high-performance front-end experience.

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, cultivating a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

• Establish and maintain a setting where engineers are motivated, engaged, and continuously enhancing their skills.

• Take ownership of the technical delivery of the project, ensuring timelines are met and deliverables align with the client's goals.

• Choose and update technologies that best fit the client's requirements while ensuring alignment with our standards.

• Assist the Product Manager in refining discovery processes, ensuring that epics and user stories on the roadmap are accurately refined, estimated, and prioritized in accordance with business objectives.

• Act as a hands-on contributor to the project, collaborating with the team to develop features.

• Conduct regular code reviews to uphold code quality.

• Oversee the overall software architecture.

• Actively seek opportunities to enhance the development process and increase team efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a leadership position.

• 6+ years in engineering roles.

• 3+ years of experience in developing web applications using Node.js and React.

• Experience in software architecture, particularly for projects developed from the ground up is a plus.

• Experience in setting up and managing hosting infrastructure.

• Strong business acumen; experience in early-stage startups is advantageous.

• A keen interest in learning new technologies and applying AI in your work processes.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to tackle complex technical challenges.

• Eagerness to learn new technologies.

• Proficiency in English.
