This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Georgia.
• Define user stories, tasks, and timelines to be executed in alignment with assigned projects.
• Steer the team's development efforts towards successful and timely project delivery, adhering to the team sprint goals.
• Provide technical guidance to team members through coaching and mentorship.
• Ensure daily stand-ups keep all team members informed about the various areas of focus.
• Promote the sharing of knowledge regarding solutions managed by the team among all members.
• Collaborate with HR and the Head of Software to address performance issues of team members who do not meet agreed standards.
• Uphold high software quality standards within the team by establishing effective practices and habits.
• Set clear benchmarks through the software utilized to monitor quality, including Sonar Cloud quality gates and code reviews.
• Take full ownership, alongside the team, of the solutions under your care, including daily monitoring, dashboard creation and maintenance, as well as establishing KPIs and alert thresholds to proactively address production issues.
• Identify and promote opportunities for growth and improvement within the team, fostering a collaborative environment and strong team spirit.
• Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts, and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain business applications.
• Develop, refine, and optimize integrations between applications.
• Assist in gathering and documenting user requirements alongside the Business Analyst.
• Analyze and resolve technical and application-related issues.
• Evaluate opportunities for application and process enhancements and prepare documentation to share with team members and concerned parties.
• Participate in the recruitment of new team members through interviews and assessments.
• Stay current with the latest trends in software development.
• A degree in software development or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development using C#, .NET, and SQL Server technologies.
• Over 3 years of experience in a Tech Lead role.
• Demonstrated experience in a fintech, digital lending, or financial services setting, particularly in credit or payments.
• Strong understanding of payment processing flows, payment gateways, and reconciliation within a financial services context.
• Familiarity with a variety of software development methodologies and approaches.
• Experience in requirements capture, analytical techniques, and process improvement strategies.
• Proven ability in people management with the capacity to lead and influence others.
• Experience in formal personal development planning, as well as managing individual, team, and process performance.
• Track record of leading and managing the delivery of system/software development projects in a structured environment.
• Exceptional personal organization skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Capability to influence and drive projects to achieve key milestones and navigate challenges.
