Tech Lead, Android Core Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of significant features and collaborate closely with the design team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality functionalities within the application.

• Contribute to the future direction of the Android team.

• Manage, maintain, and enhance reliability metrics for essential features.

• Engage in discussions with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.

• Review pull requests and provide assistance to fellow team members.

• Address critical issues and navigate unexpected challenges effectively.

• Take charge of feature releases and supply nightly builds for the QA team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Understanding of Android components.

• Experience in building or contributing to at least one Android application.

• A strong sense of product design and user empathy.

• Motivation to push the limits of Android UI/UX.

• Awareness of the significance of testing and approaches for writing tests.

• Self-motivation to enhance the application and codebase beyond the specifications provided.

• Extensive experience with Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Music Player Service, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, and JUnit tests.

• Strong communication skills.

• User-centered problem-solving mindset.
