Tech Enablement Engineer – B2B Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Develop and Optimize Automations: Conceptualize, create, and manage comprehensive automation workflows that enhance internal processes. This involves utilizing low-code tools (like n8n) and custom scripts (SQL, Google Cloud Functions, Apps Script, Node.js/Python) to link APIs, databases, and services, thereby minimizing manual labor for our teams.

• Full-Stack Internal Tools: Design and upgrade internal applications for both web and mobile platforms. You will leverage modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React/Next.js) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, SQL) to construct tools that enhance our Operations and B2B services. Additionally, you will establish CI/CD pipelines (using GitHub Actions or similar) for efficient tool deployment.

• Hardware (IoT): Participate in the creation and maintenance of custom hardware solutions, such as our smart fridges powered by Raspberry Pi. This includes working with electronic locks, sensors, cameras, and incorporating computer vision functionalities. You will ensure these devices are remotely accessible, regularly maintained, and operate reliably in the field.

• Third-Party Integrations: Oversee and enhance integrations with external software utilized by the team (including platforms like Zendesk, Aircall, Jira, etc.). This may involve configuring integrations, creating custom API wrappers or webhooks, and ensuring seamless data flow between CookUnity’s systems and these external platforms.

• AI Tools & Agents: Explore and develop AI-driven tools that align with the team's objectives. For instance, you might prototype AI agents or chatbots to assist with support tasks or data analysis, utilizing frameworks or APIs for natural language processing.

• Marketing & CRM Support: Collaborate closely with our Marketing and Data teams to automate their processes. This could entail connecting marketing automation platforms, scripting for data ingestion or transformation in Salesforce, and implementing validation rules or triggers in our CRM to safeguard data integrity. You will also assist in creating custom Salesforce dashboard components or integrations as necessary.

• Documentation & Handover: Clearly document all your solutions and processes. Since Tech Enablement frequently introduces new tools and workflows, it is essential that everything developed is thoroughly documented for easy handover or transition to Product/Engineering teams for sustained ownership. You will produce how-to guides, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks to ensure effective knowledge transfer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with practical exposure to a diverse range of technologies.

• Proficiency in coding with JavaScript/TypeScript and Python. You have developed scripts or services in these languages and are comfortable with both front-end and back-end development.

• Experience in developing web applications using contemporary frameworks (such as React/Next.js on the front end and Node.js or Python on the back end).

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and webhooks, along with experience in integrating third-party APIs or SDKs.

• Familiarity with SQL databases and the ability to write and optimize SQL queries.

• Experience with automation workflows or low-code platforms (like n8n, Zapier, or similar), or proven capability in designing custom automation scripts to link various systems.

• Basic knowledge of cloud services and DevOps: comfortable deploying applications or functions on cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Functions, AWS Lambda) and employing CI/CD pipelines for version control and deployment.

• Exposure to hardware or IoT projects (even as a hobbyist): you can configure devices, install OS/software on a Raspberry Pi (Linux), and troubleshoot connectivity or sensor issues.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities across various domains (software, hardware, integrations).

• Fluent in English communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical team members and collaborate across teams in English.

• Familiarity with AI engineering tools.
