This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Recruit, train, and guide a team of sales representatives to meet or surpass district sales objectives.
• Influence course and program adoption decisions within institutions of higher education.
• Formulate account strategies for designated accounts.
• Collaborate with enterprise-level account executives on Strategic Accounts.
• Hire, mentor, develop, and lead members of the sales team.
• Plan and report on the sales pipeline, conduct business analytics, and oversee financial management.
• Work with peers, colleagues, and Services team members to promote continuous improvement.
• Establish strategic vision and execute district sales plans.
• Propel revenue growth, enhance customer value, support learner progression, and foster business growth.
• Utilize data to focus and prioritize efforts across different territories.
• Leverage support from the Marketing and Product teams for specific accounts.
• Set territory objectives, track KPIs, and manage overall performance.
• Train direct reports on strategic planning, territory management, and sales techniques.
• Reinforce the use of OneCRM, sales tools, product knowledge, and Customer Success Representative engagement.
• Represent Pearson's enterprise products and services while co-creating solutions with customers.
• Engage Pearson resources to capture market share and maximize monetization opportunities.
• Manage budgets at the district level.
• Contribute to designated national task forces.
• Meet or exceed targets for subscription-based sales and market share.
• Retain top talent within the team.
• Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education and relevant work experience.
• At least 5 years of outstanding sales performance in the higher education sector.
• Proven track record of informal and/or formal leadership; capable of building and motivating a team.
• Proficient in identifying, organizing, and presenting data to support opportunity approvals.
• Strong skills in articulating value propositions.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems effectively.
• Experienced with data analytics, financial and business reporting, and making data-informed decisions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and teams.
• Proficient in MS Office, CRM systems, sales reporting, and basic project management tools.
• Results-oriented and driven by achievements.
• Motivated to coach and develop others.
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
