This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Guide team members through changes in organizational and operational processes.
• Assist in defining future role expectations focused on expertise, governance, stakeholder collaboration, operational orchestration, and ongoing improvement.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, operational excellence, and modernization.
• Facilitate discussions at the executive level concerning payroll risks, controls, compliance, and operational performance.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with senior stakeholders throughout the organization.
• Lead transformation initiatives in Europe, including vendor transitions and redesigning operating models.
• Aid in the ongoing development of operations through optimization and standardization, enhancements in governance, and vendor optimization.
• Spearhead strategies for automation and readiness for AI integration.
• Assist in transitioning the function to an expertise-driven and strategically aligned operational framework.
• Reinforce governance and operational controls across the region.
• Decrease reliance on key individuals and enhance operational robustness through scalable support systems and thorough documentation.
• Enhance operational resilience and continuity planning across the markets served.
• Supervise audit preparedness and assist with remediation efforts as necessary.
• Ensure effective escalation management and operational transparency across all countries served.
• Achieve consistent accuracy and timely delivery throughout the region.
• Lower manual workarounds year after year.
• Extensive experience managing complex multinational payroll operations in Europe.
• Proven knowledge of European payroll governance, compliance, and operational risks.
• Strong awareness of UK employment tax is highly preferred.
• Experience functioning within matrixed multinational organizations.
• Preferred experience in leading transformation, vendor transitions, or redesign initiatives for operating models.
• Preferred experience collaborating with outsourced vendors and hybrid delivery models.
