Team Lead, Provider Enrollment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the training and supervision of offshore team members.

• Assist in overseeing the resolution of issues related to the provider education process concerning application completion and submission.

• Aid in the management of the collection, updating, and maintenance of essential provider information and documentation.

• Support the follow-up on enrollment by clients and payers, ensuring completion within departmental and client guidelines.

• Ensure the timely and complete processing of provider enrollment applications for initial submissions and re-credentialing.

• Assist in verifying provider and group information with insurance companies.

• Help coordinate information regarding the enrollment and termination of all providers, communicating updates to the team and clients as needed.

• Contribute collaboratively to the development of departmental processes and procedures.

• Assist in monitoring provider enrollment work queues and smart feeds, as well as other provider reports, ensuring they are up to date, and communicate areas for improvement and trends to the Manager.

• Support training and education efforts on enrollment processes or required research for accuracy.

• Organize, schedule, and conduct all training activities for the onshore and offshore provider enrollment team related to enrollment follow-up.

• Document and archive training sessions for future reference.

• Monitor and analyze productivity, performing quality assurance for the offshore team.

• Provide timely feedback to the offshore provider enrollment team regarding the quality assurance process and outcomes.

• Identify challenges faced by offshore provider enrollment staff and offer guidance as needed.

• Perform additional duties as requested.

• Use, protect, and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) in compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.

• Understand and adhere to Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures at all times.

• Limit access to PHI to the minimum necessary to perform assigned duties.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.

• At least 4 years of experience in provider enrollment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and CAQH.

• Preferred knowledge and experience in billing.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

• Strong problem-solving and creative thinking abilities, along with the capacity to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
