Team Lead IT Operations – Service Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the operational management of the internal IT sector and effectively implement technical tasks.

• Ensure the reliable functioning of the office IT infrastructure and the Microsoft-based work environment.

• Analyze technical challenges, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

• Plan IT projects, prioritize tasks, and advance initiatives with both internal stakeholders and external service providers.

• Oversee external IT service providers, ensuring alignment on services, responsibilities, and technical decisions.

• Transform IT support into a structured service model and convert recurring issues into well-defined processes.

• Enhance Jira Service Management as the primary platform for requests and support.

• Assist with IT and information security audits and certifications by maintaining clear processes, defined responsibilities, and documented evidence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in managing and evolving modern IT environments.

• Familiarity with Microsoft-based enterprise environments.

• Knowledge of building secure and scalable IT infrastructures for expanding companies.

• Capability to structure IT projects, prioritize tasks, and coordinate participants and dependencies effectively.

• Confident evaluation of technical solution approaches with a pragmatic, analytical, and implementation-driven mindset toward incidents.

• Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune.

• Background in collaborating with external IT service providers and the ability to critically assess technical recommendations.

• Initial experience in providing technical guidance to colleagues is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Eagerness to take on responsibility and grow into a leadership role.

• Proficient in both German and English.

• Strong communication skills with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
