This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist the Manager in the governance, planning, and execution of the U.S. Field Count and Self-Count initiatives.
• Create, uphold, and implement standardized processes, timelines, documentation, and quality standards for all Field Counts and Self-Counts.
• Collaborate on data preparation, set listings, and logistics before count execution alongside Sales and internal teams.
• Direct post-count reconciliation efforts, resolve discrepancies, and follow up to ensure prompt and accurate closure.
• Supervise and manage all Self-Count operations, which include planning, execution, validation, and reconciliation.
• Provide daily direction, prioritize tasks, and offer operational guidance to Lead and Senior Field Inventory Coordinators.
• Act as an escalation point for issues related to count readiness, execution, sales coordination, data integrity, and compliance.
• Conduct training on Field Count procedures, inventory controls, and counting tools; promote continuous improvement of tools and documentation.
• Collect, analyze, and maintain inventory data; execute cycle counts, verify accuracy, and facilitate system adjustments.
• Oversee resolution of expired inventory, RMA processing, and disposition activities in line with quality and regulatory standards.
• Maintain regular communication with Sales, Field Operations, Quality, and leadership to provide status updates and visibility.
• Travel frequently to support Field Count execution, internal cycling, audits, and cross-location inventory activities.
• Ensure all Field Count operations comply with financial audit requirements and maintain audit readiness.
• High School diploma is required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in inventory management, cycle counting, or field operations (experience in the medical device industry is highly preferred).
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Strong understanding of inventory tracking, counting principles, controls, and data analysis.
• Proven leadership or mentoring experience with the capability to guide and prioritize team tasks.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel (including pivot tables and queries), Word, Access, and ERP systems.
• Capability to teach and train others on best practices in inventory management.
• Strong analytical skills with a preference for financial understanding related to inventory.
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
