
Team Lead β EMPI Data Integrity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
β’ Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of EMPI Data Integrity Specialists.
β’ Oversee daily work queues, manage workload distribution, and prioritize operational tasks.
β’ Supervise the identification, investigation, and resolution of duplicate patient records, overlays and overlaps, registration discrepancies, as well as patient matching and identity issues.
β’ Act as the escalation point for complex and high-risk patient identity matters.
β’ Promote quality assurance, conduct audit activities, and monitor operational performance.
β’ Create and deliver training programs, standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflow documentation, and job aids.
β’ Collaborate with teams in Registration, Health Information Management, Clinical Operations, Clinical Informatics, Compliance, and IT.
β’ Assist in system implementations, application upgrades, Epic initiatives, LexisNexis enhancements, user acceptance testing (UAT), production validations, and go-live activities.
β’ Advocate for continuous improvement centered on patient matching accuracy, workflow optimization, and data integrity.
β’ Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field, such as Medical Technology / Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Radiologic Technology, Pharmacy, Health Information Management, or other allied healthcare disciplines.
β’ 1β2 years of experience with healthcare registration systems, EMPI platforms, electronic health records (EHRs), or health information management (HIM) operations.
β’ 1β2 years of leadership, mentoring, coaching, or supervisory experience.
β’ Experience in supporting quality assurance, service level agreement (SLA) management, and workflow enhancement initiatives.
β’ Experience within large healthcare organizations or multi-facility settings.
β’ Preferred experience in Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) operations.
β’ Preferred experience in patient identity management and medical record integrity.
β’ Preferred experience with Epic EHR.
β’ Preferred experience with LexisNexis EMPI solutions.
β’ Preferred understanding of healthcare interoperability concepts.
β’ Preferred experience with processes related to duplicates, overlays, overlaps, and reconciliation.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and reporting tools.
