Team Lead, DataOps

📋 Description

• Guide, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing DataOps team.

• Establish technical direction, priorities, and operational standards for DataOps.

• Take ownership of the operational health, performance, and availability of CloudPay’s data platforms.

• Design and execute monitoring, alerting, and incident management strategies for data pipelines.

• Implement effective CI/CD processes for data pipelines and analytics assets.

• Ensure robust data access controls, auditability, and compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR).

• Serve as a liaison between Data Engineering, Analytics, Product, and Operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in DataOps, Data Engineering, or Platform Engineering.

• Practical knowledge of contemporary data stacks (e.g., cloud data warehouses, ETL/ELT tools, orchestration frameworks).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Azure, or GCP.

• Proficient in MySQL and at least one scripting language (Python preferred).

• Experience in implementing CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and automated testing for data systems.

• Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and alerting tools.

• Demonstrated experience in leading or mentoring technical teams.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and an operational mindset.

• Experience in Agile or DevOps-oriented environments.
